26 Feb Winter light | Seattle Waterfront Engagement Session

We happened to schedule this session for Super Bowl Sunday, and of course, it looked like the best light was going to occur during the game. I crossed my fingers that since the Seahawks weren’t playing, this couple wouldn’t mind missing part of it. Luckily, they were willing to still shoot, and the rather schizophrenic light (cloudy, bright, cloudy, dark, cloudy, gorgeous!) didn’t disappoint. I met up with them and their sweet, treat-loving pooch at the Olympic Sculpture Garden. We worked our way down to the beach (where he had previously proposed) and then along the nearly empty waterfront. If you shoot during the Super Bowl, you get most places to yourself–whoo hoo! It was a lovely adventure topped off by a stunning sunset. I can’t wait to see what their wedding day brings! Enjoy this peek into their session.
