Bike Rides, Beaches, and Mud Puddles | Seattle Lifestyle Photographer

08 Aug Bike Rides, Beaches, and Mud Puddles | Seattle Lifestyle Photographer

I wasn’t sure if I needed to say anymore in this post than “Please scroll to the mud puddle photo. You’re welcome,” but I decided a little bit of context would only enhance your viewing experience. First off, the cuteness of this family is almost too much–super sweet and giant pup, super patient and loving parents, super independent and fun little girl. Secondly, they just rolled with punches. They didn’t force this independent lady to sit still and smile perfectly. Of course, we all tried for this at one point or another, but they stepped back and let her do her thing, which allowed me to do mine, and takes us back to the mud puddle. We headed to the beach because mom and dad kept saying how much this little blondie loved the water. When we arrived, she really wanted nothing to do with it, so we took some snaps, and began to make our way back to the car. I stopped to photograph mom and dad, when little-miss-water-lover discovered the mud puddle. She splashed, jumped, and began having the time of her life. I looked to mom and dad to see if they would care that her dress was getting muddy, and they were just laughing. Mom looked to me and said, “at least she didn’t dunk her head in it.” Of course, the second those words trickled with a chuckle out of her mouth, and I stood their thinking “is that really an option?” this little girl bent like a hinge at her waist and answered my question. I almost missed the shot out of disbelief and laughter, but thank god I pushed that button! It’s one of my favorite moments to date. I hope it brings you as big of a smile as it continues to bring me. Enjoy!
